RANT:



Well,lets get to the heart of the matter. Why the tag? Why am I am so avid about honest rating?



Easy.



When I first signed onto VR, I spent some time reading up and finding out what VR was about. During that first week I did not rate, post or do much of anything but read.



So, I start rating. I rate honestly. The number I rate anyone, is an accurate judgment of what I THINK of that profile. Anyways. I rated a lot of profiles (I wanted to lock it in so my account couldn't ever be deleted, because there are weeks where I may not go near my computer).



Suddenly I get people emailing me, commenting me and generally giving me shit because I rated them a 7 or an 8. I thought "what the hell? These people can't be serious!" Turns out they were. They thought they should get what everyone else does (10s because it's the "nice" thing to do.) I don't do that. So I start talking to the few people who respected my choices and they tell me that very few people rate honestly and most use the most pansy "rate you what you rate me" rule of rating. Which of course shows no backbone and a lot of dishonesty.



This continues for days. I have admins telling me that their emails are full of hate mail for me and the same admins laughing about it. I'm getting kudos on one side from admins, Coven Masters (Master of Purgatory is one of them, I know a lot of you wanted me to end up there) and others. I'm getting the skinny on one house master who is so pissed that I only gave both his profiles a 6 and 7 respectively. He starts trying to use his obviously lacking wit to piss me off. He gets one of my threads about Honest Rating closed. I open a new one and he tries to get that one closed. On and on. He's talking smack about me in his house. He loses the war, though I know he won't admit it.



So. I rate honestly and I don't give out 10s willy nilly. I DO give out 10s, a few dozen so far. I don't rate you back what you rate me. I don't take crap from the mental midgets who email me about it. Although, most who have emailed me about without all the venom and mindless ranting have come to understand that it wasn't me saying they suck or I hate them (unless it was an emos profile, them, I hate.), it's because that's what I thought of their profile. Some have asked for pointers and help. Most acknowledge that my way works fine.



So that's pretty much the whole thing behind the tag (although much of it happened after I made it). It's my way of saying "ENOUGH, it's time to not let the meek run things on a damn VAMPIRE website."



If you don't like it or me. Awwww, too bad for you. I have many friends on here, and will make more. I don't need ya, don't want ya and by gum, I won't take shit from ya.



I ask those who read this and agree with honest rating, please add my tag to your profile and email me letting me know you have. We shall overcome!



Ya'll have a nice day. Feel free to rate me a 1 and leave ignorant comments, it only helps my cause.

My honest rating thread has been a way to get out the word of rating honestly. Most people don't see it that way and get all butt hurt.



So my current thread is being attacked on all sides. Sadly, only one of my detractors has had any real logic behind his arguments.



Cade is the only one who points out real flaws in my thread, so I'll leave him out of it, even if some of his takes on things are erroneous.



Now, I'm going to point out the foolishness of some of the other posters. Why you ask? Because I find it fun.





Lets start this off with a husband/wife team. They are in my house, which is unfortunate, but I will not hold back on them, as I don't like either of them.

Kudos to nitecreature..... Still can someone explain to me why the f**k you tag is so important to put on your page if you support scattered spell,, please don't forget we do have teens on this site and it is embarrassing that we as adults act as children by posting things such as that on our page.. Again I understand that we are all entitled to our own opinions and I am not trying to discourage anyones honesty,, if you really feel like saying fuck you to someone then why come to a website and make a profile unless you are looking for trouble? And why come to a site that has everything you hate and don't believe in.. Some of us believe in this site and are not judgemental.. Yes I keep posting in this forum and keep arguing my point simply because I believe in how I feel and feel that it is important that I am HONEST about the honest rating system according to scattered spell..

This part is truly funny. First off, my Honest Rating tag is NOT flipping anyone off. I purposefully made it that way. One of the reasons is to watch the brainless misconstrue it. Mission accomplished.



So, apparently I was not "SPANKED." Gosh, that was too easy.





Moving on briskly. This guy pointed out that I had over 50 errors.

Scatter, I have just finished reading your profile, and I would like too point out a few things.

1. You state you will give a low rating for loud colors. Your profile is full of them.

2. Spelling and punctuation. Your profile is full of errors. I stopped counting after 50.

3. Redundency. Your profile reeks of it.

Please, before you go and put others down for their infalibilities, please look at your own. I can assure you, intelligence has nothing to with your cause, nor will it ever. Oh, and for the record, I rated you 10, and used my stamp to boot.

So. I don't know how dark colors are so loud, but hey, maybe he has messed up vision.....



The spelling in my profile is pretty good, considering that I tend to make at least a few errors when I type. I had only 6 accidental spelling errors. The rest were intentional. My punctuation isn't the best, but I never said in my profile that I hated all errors. Only massive amounts of them. Hell VR has a spell check built right in....



I did notice a little redundancy in my profile. I hate posted something twice, under Rating and Rants. Ooops. He's not a total reject, he did catch something. Not his own misspelling of redundancy or infallibility. Hmmm.



As for my intelligence, I let it speak for itself. I admit when I am wrong and move on.



And gosh he rated me a 10 and stamped profile. Oh darn. Sure, I don't like stamps, but people are going to do it anyways. Some actually read my profile and don't do it. That's good. It is one way I can tell when someone has read it, which is why I put what I did on my profile.







This one, from the same guy, is quite interesting.

He is here to gain attention. Probably he never got good ratings, so he is taking it out on everyone else.

This assumption is puzzling. Attention? I don't need it or want it as much as he assumes. Of course it's a standard way the mentally challenged try to win an argument. It's called the Straw Man Argument. If you don't know what that is, Google it.



I actually get a lot of 10s. It's one of the reasons I started the Honest Rating movement. My profile is no better than a 7 or 8. Before anyone emails about what I rated myself. A 10 of course. I like my profile greatly. It suits me and I like feeding my own ego. It's fun.

I think this helps my case for honest ratings. I swear, I don't see how anyone can't see the truth. I'm betting both those nimrods actually sent an email to that address too.
