Death or a journey

Beneath the halls of water and stone

I speak of my life leaving me known

My heart was sliced and now it shakes

Biding time to sew it thrice

Three times it trembles, each thriving second

These threads will be suffice

Keeping it beating and the blood seeping

Through each vane it splashes and flows

To the heart it bashes with every hastened blow

The liquid rides my flesh to my brain

Keeping my life untamed and stained

I thrash around each night in bed

Being led by un wanted dread

My unending thoughts of being dead

By snapping strings and cracking skin

Like cement when it is paved too thin

I fall to the floor each morning

And onto the couch each evening

I can’t help my mind keeps teasing

On and on its weaving

Around my limbs the threads are pulling tight

I can only say I will leave without a fight

Helpless, I lie there deep into the night

My heart finally bursts

Onward I leave in the back of a hearse

I am dressed in nice cloths

A dress and a few bows

My long blonde hair flows

My opened casket lies upon the ground

Only 3 mourners can be found

Mother and father of course they stay

Their eyes colored from darkened cries

Then the man who police thought caused all of the thoughtless lies

My boyfriend who found tears as well

Once he approached my cold white self he fell

Onto his knees he went and began to speak

As though it were someone else below his eyes to seek

He began, “I will move on.” he said water blurring his sight

“I will do my best to supply your finally light”

I looked up in pain and moved an inch for only him to notice

At that moment his eyes view went into focus.

I hushed him silence not to go on telling anyone

Minutes before morning, after my parents left

He stayed behind rescuing my from the soil

Removing me from the toils

For the ground held many to go around

He took me far away where I could not be found

To this day my story is unknown only one mind holds it now

That man who saved me from that monstrous fate of a trouble mind and a ruptured heart
