Once a dark night in the land so dreary
Behold a fair maiden pale and weary
Her lips of blood and her eyes of velvet rose
Stole into the castle on silent toes
She crept up the stairs to royal bed chamber
Where the Lord of the manse took to deep slumber
There she now stood at his side
Staring down with eyes wide
She stood for a moment
And fell upon him with hunger and rage
The lord did struggle but he could not fight her in this stage
The savage Vampire Queen drank till he shrivel
Then Dawn's herald made her swivel
The Sun was rising
She must escape
But alas it was too late
Dawn burned her to ashes
But she will be back in many years to come
For now our story is done...
