In the beginning all worlds were separate. They lived in harmony with there own kind. Each one of there elders went beyond there borders to meet with the elders of other worlds. There were cat people, bird men, snake, and dragon. The gods of high called them to help in the healing of a god laden with the rot of the heart.
They called themselves the council and set about deciding how to heal this god before he merged all the worlds and land into one under his own tyranny.
First order was to create a place where all tribes would send there best warriors and scholars along with this god to find a way to heal him through living in his world made of his own mind. They called it the realm of shadows.
Many years had passed and not one thing had worked to help heal this mind. So in desperation the council decided that the only way was to give love and compassion a seed into his heart. In theory this seed would bloom and eventually teach this god that his madness was not the only way to live.
The council created a bowl made of silver light and each one added into it a single strand of DNA from there species. When the bowl was handed back it was not full. The elder gods seeing this and in there desperation they each cut themselves and added to the bowl there own blood till it was almost to the top. One called out to the fairy queen to dust the top with her gold dust of the ancient world tree.

A beautiful queen sat on her balcony looking out at the stars watching them wink at her and she allowed a single tear fall down her cheek. She didn't make any movement to wipe it away and quietly whispered to the stars. If only I had a child to love in these times of such sorrow. A child would heal this heart of mine and my kingdom that has fell to such despair. Her heart was so pure and her wish was one not for just herself.
The queen bowed to the stars than went to bed hoping against hope that someone would hear her cry.
That night the gods took the bowl as the queen slept and poured it over her bathing her in the magick that was held within the bowl. Inpregnating her soul and body with the single hope that she so wished.
