7 years

You feel your age when someone HALF your own years says that "five years ago" was a "really, long time ago".

I didn't realize that my VR birthday has come and gone already. Well, I tend to forget my actual birthday so I shouldn't be too surprised.

If I had paid attention to my account the first time around it would be about the same age as VR itself.

I didn't know 'pickle' would be such a hard password to remember.

The dryer has run off again.

I think he needs to be taken in for a bit of fixing.

Even a lazy Saturday can be fun.

My iced tea tastes a bit like the air when it's too dry and dusty. Shouldn't suck back on sunflower seeds so much.

Did I mention it's summer and hot?

Ai showed me a comic that won top prize in a manga competition for International artists... that's given me a push that I thought I didn't need.

I can write and draw on par with their level of skill but it's a big job. Ai is already an established artist in Japan and I'm just... still finding my way.

I completed two sketches very late last night. Lights out. Bundled in a corner of the dining room. Drawing tablets are good for things like that. No messy eraser bits hanging about.

Today I'll use regular pen and pencil. Add another two for practice and another set with the tablet.

I'll probably sneak in an episode of Garasu no Kamen before I actually get to work.

Violin, 1

Me, 0

Snapped my G-string.Oh, my. Roll your eyes. Replaced the E-string that cost more than the total set I bought earlier this week. Peter Infeld... the sound is gorgeous.

I may need to work on repairing/replacing a few pieces such as the nut and the bridge. I would love to add a different tailpiece as well, sometime after I've become more familiar with what I have now.

Tuning is a daily habit as the pegs move slightly out of place if I accidentally knock my case against the wall or closet door. I haven't dropped my violin once - yet. Fingers crossed. Luck is never on my side.

Seriously thinking of wearing safety glasses when I play. Heh.

The machine heads or pegs on a Bass stay pretty much in tune.Luckily,I dont break strings often, but when I do,it costs quite a bit to replace them.

My model cello smashed to pieces all over the floor when I knocked it off my night table and that little thing was priceless.

Never let me near your Bass. Haha.
