Last week something that happened 20 years ago in my life reared its ugly head and fucked me in the ass, hard. How long does one have to pay for a mistake? It came back to bite a solid week out of my ass, a week that I can't even begin to tell you was sheer hell. And it will have repercussions. It's not over yet and while I thought that that week was probably one in 2 of the most terrible in my life I have a distinct feeling that the worse is still to come. In fact, I know this. In about 2 more weeks, my life will never be the same. And not in a good way. I knew things were going along just too well...

It's times like now that I wish I wouldn't of lost my faith. Spoken like a true hypocrite ehhh....

So when I was in Las Vegas last week we went to a Sushi Bar & Bistro. I was in adventurous spirits and decided I would try something that at the thought of I had always found repulsive. Yes, Sushi. Now I love most fish and I thought I would try a salmon one as its my favorite.

So Ryan offers me his tray, I don't know how to use chopsticks so I gingerly picked it up, carefully put it in my mouth. That thing was so big I didn't even have any room in my mouth to chew it, how do people eat that stuff without looking like a pig?

Anyways it was just as disgusting as I always knew it would be! GAG! GROSS! All manners went out the window as I spit that hulk of vomitus back into my napkin....I almost hurled. Everyone at the table (14 of us) thought it was extremely funny, except me. Nasty. I was green the rest of the evening.

So much for trying something new, never again I tell you.

Sheesh... you have to break in to sushi with a hand roll - something tame like a california roll or philadelphia roll. You don't just go for a big hunk of raw salmon right off the bat...

Sushi actually refers to the rice not the fish, they have vegi rolls. The salmon is a lil strong and some what salty. I like the tuna rolls myself. Next time try a cucumber or aprergrass one they are quite good and the lack the raw fish you seem to detest.
