Why people take their infants to a movie theater is beyond me.......So last night while at the movies there were at least 3 infants there, one right behind us. After raising 5 kids I can tune out most of the crying and wailing. But then I noticed a baby bottle on the floor in front of me. I could hear the lady behind me telling her friend that she had dropped it. Not unsympathetic to her situation I tried to pull it towards me with my feet but it just rolled further away. So I got down on the sticky cement floor on my hands and feet to try and reach it to no avail. Ick. During the rest of the movie I couldn't help feeling bad that I couldn't help her.

Movie ends, lights go on. I turn to her and tell her I tried to recover the bottle for her and told her where I thought it was. You would of thought she was Lot's wife. Just stared at me, not a word.

That's what I get for trying to be helpful. People can be so rude. It just really pissed me off.

Yes...I'd be pissed too, as I'm basically a nice person with manners - I hate when I run into people who lack them.

Anyway, you asked why do people bring babies to movie theaters? It is because they are selfish. They want what they want, and to hell with everyone else - including their poor babies.

Apparently they are ignorant and were raised that way. I've had that happen. It sucks. Babies shouldn't be allowed in movie theaters.

Pinja and I saw "The Impossible" last night. One of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. It had everyone in the theater crying. It just really brought home the devastating wreckage to all the people that were there (Thailand) when the Tsunami hit. Just horribly sad and gut wrenching. A must see film.

Missed my appt. for a root canal this morning (DARN!), so sick that I can't even keep water down and I have this champagne cake in the fridge screaming at me, EAT ME! EAT ME! So sad.

Yikes...that so sux!!! Get better soon...well maybe slowly so u don't hafta do the root canal:P Dunno which is worse...but tooth work scares me~shivers at the thought~

Went to the salon today and had my hair highlighted dark red and brown, with a few streaks of my blond in there. This is my Winter "look". Had my eyebrows waxed and styled as well. It always makes me feel good to pamper myself every now and then. Felt like I needed a change.

Tomorrow Pinja is going to make me my favorite dinner at home, Blackened Salmon on a bed of Fettuccine Alfredo. Champagne cake for desert. Then I think we are going to go see The Impossible at the theater. He promises me some bow chicky bow wow, later ;)

Well I survived and feel pretty good considering. I didn't drink much by my standards ;). I had a Flirtini, a Sangria, 2 Gravity's (a tropical version of a Long Island) and a glass of Chardonnay. Dinner sobered me out, I had the Bite Size and Pinja had the Lamb Chops. Had a ton of laughs with the girls, lots of neat and thoughtful gifts. And romance with my sweetie.

Now back to my diet, ugggh.

Another year older. That's is the bad news lol but I get to go out with my gf's tonight and cause some debauchery ;P Plus Pinja is taking me out afterwards for a lovely dinner at my fav place. And then......*giggles*.
