Trying to decide if I want to join the Hiking Club but I'm thinking I have my plate full with the Ultra Marathon, I start that on Thursday and I'm hoping it will prepare me for the Seaport River Run in May. I don't want to take on more than I can handle and I want it to remain fun and not feel like a job or obligation.
Trying to get Pinja to join me but it's like pulling teeth. I'm thinking bribery, that always works in a pinch ;)

A little on the frustrated side right now. A few weeks ago Pinja bumped into my computer hard enough to bend the adaptor/charger cord. We took it into the shop and they told me I would need a new power board. Mmmkay. They had to order the part and I was told it would just be a couple of days. The part comes in and it's the wrong one. They contact the company and inform them of their error. Then we are told another few days till the right one gets here but that it would be sent 2 day mail because it was their error. It took a week. Then I get a call today informing me that the part was in but it won't stay down, it keeps wanting to pop out and he is trying to mod it.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
It should of been simple. I want my puter back. NOW.

I was watching The View this morning and the subject turned to sex and how much you should be having. They had a clip from Bethany where her and her husband were talking about the subject. She was saying they used to have too much sex and too much to her was their "vacation sex" which consisted of 3 times a week.
Seriously? Three times a week is too much and relegated to "special occasions"? WOW. I feel sorry for her hubby.
I don't know about you guys but I like it at least once a day unless I'm on my death bed thank you very much.

So I just went and registered for "Walk Your Own Marathon". It consists of walking 150 miles over a period of a few months. Orientation is Monday where I will receive maps and a pedometer. Upon completion I will receive a T-shirt, the fees go to Parks & Rec. to help support the childrens sports programs here in the valley.
I'm kinda excited, not only will I lose weight doing this and reach my goal sooner but I will be seeing areas of the valley I haven't visited before and/or just not nearly enough. We have some beautiful scenery here. Now, to just keep motivated...that is a whole other thing. Wish me luck :)

Looks like I am going to be a grandma, once again. My daughter is prego with baby #2. I'm not sure how I feel about this, she is only 21 and her baby is only 15 months old. To top things off baby daddy is an extreme control freak(by her own admittance), doesn't have a job and is a dick about watching her baby while she works all day. Not a great environment for bringing another child into. Obviously it is not my choice but hers and despite my misgivings I will be here to support her every inch of the way. I'm just worried about her...

OMG! I just had a dozen long stemmed red roses delivered to me from Pinja, they are so beautiful and they smell soooo good.
You know it was a year ago today that he arrived here and moved in. It's been a rough and rocky road no doubt about it but I love my baby ♥

Sad to say but I think more often of my mother now then when she was alive. You know that saying "you were never hugged as a child", well that was me. Hell I don't even recall her ever saying she loved me, not once. I ended up in a few Foster Homes but I won't go into any of that, even I have my limits of what I will share here.
I was reminded of her last night while watching the Grammys. They had a lot of oldies like Paul McCartney, the Beach Boys and Glen Campbell. Music that my mother would play around the house when I was little. We had a bar in the house with a dance floor, I remember the orange beads that hung as the doorway lol, wow, the 70's. When my parents started buying 8 tracks they would give me their albums, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Beach Boys, the Monkees.....

I had an awesome birthday yesterday and I just wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful messages :D We went out to a great dinner where I got to splurge on some yummy cheesy goodness hehe, then came home and I opened all of my wonderful gifts, Justin played Happy Birthday for me on the piano and then we got to eat this wonderful carrot cake shaped like a cupcake, yummy. At the end of the day Pinja and I went and saw Underworld Awakening in 3D, it was awesome! You have to see it....
