Roses

Times Read: 533

A bed of roses,

A field of poppies,

The landscape ends,

To begin with clear blue sky.

No clouds to break,

This illusion of peace,

No sun, but yet I'm warm,

A gentle breeze,

But no grass stirs,

No movement but

The beat of my heart.

Laying close together,

But yet I'm alone,

A bed of roses,

A field of poppies.

Just a dream ,

love comes

People say love comes and goes...

I say let the truth be known...

We have several types of love;

for our children,

parents,

and friends,

but there is a gentle love

that I call my best friend.

I've been fortunate enough to love or I thought it was...

until I met a man that showed me what is a best friend.

He taught me how to laugh, cry,

and show me how it feels to have emotions again,

but some how life took over

and we said our good-byes,

but you see he gave me something I was missing

and that was me.

I thank my special friend

for I will never forget

how wonderful it was to be loved again.

A Rose

02:14 Jan 29 2010

hi jessica(--.) Pictures, Images and Photos

A woman is like a rose

So beautiful to behold.

Their aroma freshen the air.

Their lovely eyes shine with radiate affection.

Their stem is long and strong to support what ever comes their way.

They can withstand the storms of life.

As it tosses them to and fro.

A woman is like a rose.

Their thorns protect them from harm.

They sometimes sting you with their thrones

To let you know it hurts.

They bloom and grow with the sunshine of love.

Shower them each day with the sunshine of love;

Let them know you love them.

Nourish them with kindness and

feed them from the well of love.

But take care not to touch their petals.

Break not their heart in sorrow

For once the heart is broken and the petals have been damaged

They wither up inside and die.

Allow them to grow and gently

direct their path in life.

For once they are cut deep in their heart

They have nothing more to give.

They will wilt and turn to powder.

And blow away in the morning breeze.

A woman is like a rose.

Delicate and beautiful

Strong and protective

Yet fragile and insecure.

Dieing

What would you say if I told you I was dieing?Would you shed a tear? Tell me I'm wrong or just lieing. But now I'm left to face my fear.

The pain it gets more intense with each passing day.Yet I try to hide my doult. For I never died before. Not knowing what it's about. I only guess what's in store.

I try to hide my faults, so many I've carried along the way. Soon comes the night. Without a choice. Seeking light. With a loud voice, with word's I learn to play.

I guess I could beg you for a bit of sympathy. The devil with right and wrong. I guess I could feel sorry for myself. But that's the words to a different song.

I guess I could blame heaven and hell but then it all comes back to me. If I want to release my soul my spirit must remain free. I hurt so bad today. The words have lost there way. And I sit cursing the night in the middle of the day.

If I were dieing .......Would you help me live on.....If I were dieing......Would you write me off. Praying I were gone?

OH, MY KNIGHT

Hide,

and hide well.

Because the sun has fallen

and darkness has arisen.

The creatures from Hell are coming,

with burning eyes and blood dripping fangs.

They hold the key to eternal torment,

Hide my knight, for tonight.

The demons from Hell have come,

to guide me into the kingdom of darkness.

Save yourself

and others on your way,

Tonight evil will approach

and all that's not safe-under

shadows of light-will die.

They will rise

among the dead,

and ride thoughout the kingdom

with evil intents.

Don't breathe, my knight

It's soon be over,

when I am gone.

I will safe your path

to our final goal.

But don't forget who I am now.

I'm sorry, my knight for what

I've done.

Trusted you with the light,

I'm taken the darkness

and put it in my soul.

Left you in the dirt,

alone, cold, and scared

I ride with the demons,

and left you standing there.

Take care my knight

Me, on a black dragon back.

Behind a dark demon with red eyes.

I look behind and find

my knight-searching

for me....

I look behind but cannot seem

to find hope,

for a brighter future,

It will always be a dream,

to share the rest of

my eternal life

with my lovely knight!

HELL Pictures, Images and Photos

The Sorcerer cast the spell

And raise the demons from hell

Trouble is brewing

It will make a shocking viewing

The sky turn black

The city will be thrown into turmoil

There will be nothing left to spoil

Nothing but ruins and bricks

That's what becomes of devilish tricks

Beware when calling on the Dark Lord

Be sure that you agree a price you can afford

There is no point in taking a leading role

If you have to give up your soul

A member of the living dead

You should have turned to the Good Lord instead

Pray for Salvation

Or else face damnation

Wow...I guess we should be really careful for what we ask for...those dark gifts come with a hefty price, after all.

Butterfly

Yesterday a butterfly

Came floating gently through the sky.

He soared up through the atmosphere

Then drifted close enough to hear.

I said, "I'd love to fly with you

And sail around the way you do.

It looks like it would be such fun

To fly up toward the summer sun.

But I have not your graceful charm.

I haven't wings, just these two arms.

I've been designed to walk around.

My human feet must touch the ground.

Then magically he spoke to me

and told me what his wish would be.

He said, "What I'd love most to do

Is walk upon God's Earth with you,

To squish it's mud between my toes

Or touch my finger to my nose.

I'd love just once to walk around

With human feet to touch the ground,

But I have not two legs that swing,

I haven't arms, just these two wings."

And so we went our separate ways

In wonder and surprise.

For we'd both seen God's precious gifts

Through someone else's eyes.

Around Me

02:07 Jan 18 2010
Times Read: 576

I should add here its a Poem Nothing More!!

Its quiet around me

No sound anywhere and leaves are just falling from trees

Its autumn and worse is yet to come

The rain and the cold will be everywhere, in your mind and body like an octopus gathering his tentacles all over me and trying to suck the life out of me.

I am trying and trying but negativeness is around me

But all I hope for that the sun will shine again for my misery and me will depart like all my thoughts of death and suicide.

I try to think what would I gain of me ending this life and all I do is seeing this dream of my son and partner standing around my coffin crying and blaming me for this thoughtless and selfish step that I made but when I wake up (thanks god) its only a dream.

I need to think I need to act and be myself as I am every day but a change is needed in my life.

All I must do is make it happen and react upon it.

I must I must I must

The Raven (Edgar Allan Poe) My favorite Poem

02:00 Jan 18 2010
Times Read: 577

Photobucket

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,

Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,

While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,

As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.

`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -

Only this, and nothing more.'

Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December,

And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.

Eagerly I wished the morrow; - vainly I had sought to borrow

From my books surcease of sorrow - sorrow for the lost Lenore -

For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels named Lenore -

Nameless here for evermore.

And the silken sad uncertain rustling of each purple curtain

Thrilled me - filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before;

So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating

`'Tis some visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door -

Some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door; -

This it is, and nothing more,'

Presently my soul grew stronger; hesitating then no longer,

`Sir,' said I, `or Madam, truly your forgiveness I implore;

But the fact is I was napping, and so gently you came rapping,

And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door,

That I scarce was sure I heard you' - here I opened wide the door; -

Darkness there, and nothing more.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,

Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before

But the silence was unbroken, and the darkness gave no token,

And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, `Lenore!'

This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, `Lenore!'

Merely this and nothing more.

Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning,

Soon again I heard a tapping somewhat louder than before.

`Surely,' said I, `surely that is something at my window lattice;

Let me see then, what thereat is, and this mystery explore -

Let my heart be still a moment and this mystery explore; -

'Tis the wind and nothing more!'

Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and flutter,

In there stepped a stately raven of the saintly days of yore.

Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he;

But, with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door -

Perched upon a bust of Pallas just above my chamber door -

Perched, and sat, and nothing more.

Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,

By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,

`Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,' I said, `art sure no craven.

Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the nightly shore -

Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!'

Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

Much I marvelled this ungainly fowl to hear discourse so plainly,

Though its answer little meaning - little relevancy bore;

For we cannot help agreeing that no living human being

Ever yet was blessed with seeing bird above his chamber door -

Bird or beast above the sculptured bust above his chamber door,

With such name as `Nevermore.'

But the raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only,

That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.

Nothing further then he uttered - not a feather then he fluttered -

Till I scarcely more than muttered `Other friends have flown before -

On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before.'

Then the bird said, `Nevermore.'

Startled at the stillness broken by reply so aptly spoken,

`Doubtless,' said I, `what it utters is its only stock and store,

Caught from some unhappy master whom unmerciful disaster

Followed fast and followed faster till his songs one burden bore -

Till the dirges of his hope that melancholy burden bore

Of "Never-nevermore."'

But the raven still beguiling all my sad soul into smiling,

Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in front of bird and bust and door;

Then, upon the velvet sinking, I betook myself to linking

Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this ominous bird of yore -

What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt, and ominous bird of yore

Meant in croaking `Nevermore.'

This I sat engaged in guessing, but no syllable expressing

To the fowl whose fiery eyes now burned into my bosom's core;

This and more I sat divining, with my head at ease reclining

On the cushion's velvet lining that the lamp-light gloated o'er,

But whose velvet violet lining with the lamp-light gloating o'er,

She shall press, ah, nevermore!

Then, methought, the air grew denser, perfumed from an unseen censer

Swung by Seraphim whose foot-falls tinkled on the tufted floor.

`Wretch,' I cried, `thy God hath lent thee - by these angels he has sent thee

Respite - respite and nepenthe from thy memories of Lenore!

Quaff, oh quaff this kind nepenthe, and forget this lost Lenore!'

Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

`Prophet!' said I, `thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil! -

Whether tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore,

Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted -

On this home by horror haunted - tell me truly, I implore -

Is there - is there balm in Gilead? - tell me - tell me, I implore!'

Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

`Prophet!' said I, `thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil!

By that Heaven that bends above us - by that God we both adore -

Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant Aidenn,

It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels named Lenore -

Clasp a rare and radiant maiden, whom the angels named Lenore?'

Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

`Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!' I shrieked upstarting -

`Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore!

Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!

Leave my loneliness unbroken! - quit the bust above my door!

Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!'

Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting

On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;

And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,

And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;

And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor

Shall be lifted - nevermore!

Today

Today I smiled, and all at once

Things didn't look so bad.

Today I shared with someone else,

A little bit of hope I had.

Today I sang a little song,

And felt my heart grow light.

I walked a happy little mile,

With not a cloud in sight.

Today I worked with what I had,

And longed for nothing more,

And what had seemed like only weeds,

Were flowers at my door.

Today I loved a little more,

And complained a little less.

And in the giving of myself,

I forgot my weariness.

I wandered lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o'er vales and hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host, of golden daffodils;

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine

And twinkle on the milky way,

They stretched in never-ending line

Along the margin of a bay:

Ten thousand saw I at a glance,

Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they

Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:

A poet could not but be gay,

In such a jocund company:

I gazed - and gazed - but little thought

What wealth the show to me had brought:
