I have been trying to buy a house. Only my credit isn't so great because I pay for everything in cash outright...Silly, isn't it? Still, I have been trying to get a loan and find a house. Not much came of that.



On Sunday of this week, I got fed up (not to mention a slight case of the flu). I suggested buying a truck instead, since my car is now leaking and it has rained nearly constantly for the last two months.



I didn't take my own words seriously, though. The next day my parents wanted to drive around looking at vehicles for sale (just something to do and spend time together). I agreed.



Low and behold, if I didn't find a truck I instantly fell in love with. I now own it. Paperwork is being filed and windshield is being installed as I type. I pick it up tomorrow.



Well, this was all too easy. Bank, dealer, everything without a glitch. That never happens to me. I was ecstatic, but wary of it. Couldn't find title of my car for trade-in and got nervous. Went to bed and found it within 5 minutes.



Okay, now I am really wondering if I am going to pull this off without some major screw up. I didn't...I posted the issue in my journal.



Basically, my auto insurance people have ripped me off for the last year without me being aware of it. Now, they are trying to screw me over even worse. I am seriously switching companies! Again...Bank needs the proof of insurance, but I can guarantee it won't have (my last two insurance companies) name on it ever again.



If insurance is mandatory, why isn't it mandatory for them to do what we are FORCED to pay them for?
