June is a pretty 'Birthday heavy" month for me.



My babiest brother turned 20! OMG I'm getting old!



He and I went to the movies and then to dinner for a sibling date, just the two of us



My nephew turned 3! I can remember holding him at just over 24 hours old. That was the first and last and only time I ever wanted/actually did/will ever hold a baby that size :)





And two of my friends Melissa and Jeni turned an age :) I'll leave that one as that seeing as both of them are such babies about how old they are lol



One of them think she is so important that she claims a whole weekend to celebrate herself. A whole weekend is too much... Really it is.



And the other one flat out REFUSES to celebrate at all.... Unless the first one has claimed that weekend for herself. Then it becomes "HOW DARE YOU TAKE MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!!!!"



If you don't want to celebrate. Fine. But you don't get to complain or bitch if you REFUSE to do anything and then when someone else plans things for that weekend throw a fit about it.



Their birthdays are 4 days apart. This was and always will be inevitable. As long as it's not the ACTUAL day the weekend is fair game to who ever plans things first. Either do something and get there first or deal with the consequences.







In related news: It's 3 weeks till MY birthday O.o

You know Dating really shouldn't be THIS exhausting... This has really just become like a 2nd full time job.



I work at night which makes things difficult. Plus my actual free days are weird Monday and Tuesday... Those aren't exactly fabulous days to go out and meet people.



All of my friends are married and most of them don't have many single friends. The ones who are, are just not my type or me theirs.



So that leaves me with online dating. Which I'm not against. I just got back from Florida where my best friend married the man of her dreams, whom she met online.



It's just I only seem to find the crazies, the creepers, the ones who just want to hook up, the assholes, or unfortunately the ones who I only see as friends.



Which goes for me too. I seem to be predominantly "friend material" for the ones I like.



And hey I get it. If there isn't that click, its not going to work. You can't force it (tried that...) but this just doesn't make it any easier.







WHY IS THIS SO HARD!?



All I want is some one who I click with, on a friendship level AND something more. Someone who accepts and gets my quirks and weirdness.



I've done the casual hook ups and fuck buddies and friends with benefits... and I'm over that. I want something... more.



I know I come with some baggage and it takes a strong person to put up with it (Believe me I live in this body and it's even hard for me sometimes)



But I only seem to make it to the "So when are you gonna come over and fuck/suck my dick/etc"



Ummm No!





*Sigh* I am THIS close to just saying "Fuck it" and dying alone on a farm with 1,000 animals.

Yep, I been where you have been. And it really sucks. Also, it sucks when you meet those close minded men who dont think your real job is important and you should be at their beck and call. Well, anyway, I do hope things get better for you.
