All things must end, just like tonight
That is not dead which eternal lies
Endless days have opened my eyes
To the tragedy of this endless night
Years will come and light will fade
Time passes but all remains the same
What you might call end, I would call change
But nothing really matters when it ends
The endless and eternal cannot fade from here
The moral and the mortal eventually disappear
But the children of the night will sing
An anthem to their endless queen
The mother calls and endless tears will fall
Upon the path we walk
Hiding from the rays of day
Lusting for life we gave away
And endlessness is our punishment
We'll forever be this way
Despite never changing endlessness
We all some day fade away.

Written on the spot. The above is the only copy of this that exists. As with most of my literary work, I did not have the patience to write a draft before publishing.
