I’ve run out of the words to say

And these thoughts keep getting in my way

All these people that don’t understand

Offer to hold you up

But I’ve fallen from the fingers that held me up

And I’ve fallen from these strangers that I chose to trust

These strangers have caused so many smiles

But in the end we all cry

And life is such a miraculous journey

But in the end we all die



The leaves have stopped giving me comfort

And the trees stopped hearing my song

But now I have to pick up all my pieces

Because in this life I can’t lean on others

Just to keep myself strong



So I’ve chosen to fall from the fingers that held me up

And I’ve chosen to fall from these strangers that I chose to trust

These strangers walk by my side

And offer to take care of my heart

But I can never finish

If I don’t let myself start
