i live for the nighttime the darkness it cloaks me

under the moon and night sky i feel so free

when the sun set the horizon on fire my day begins

the nice breeze the silence is what keeps me

the whispers the voices call out to me

do i dare answer them

through a life of hurt and pain

do i wish to go through it again

sometimes being alone is the best company to have

but being alone to long can be a hindrance as well

share thought with yourself looking to find youself

but once you are found who to share it with

the nite is always there in all season just in different times

looking for one day when the time is mine

i made bad choices in life who hasn't

but to have things taken away from you for it is what happens

but take it as a lost and just try again

but to be constantly be reminded about makes you wonder when will it end

all the things that happen i let it all go

to the night time i once more turn

to the night time once again in the darkness i am gone
