*****FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO CONSIDER THEMSELVES MASTERS OR SLAVES, PLEASE READ AND LEARN*****
This is not to ridicule anyone in the lifestyle, this is to point out to those that don’t know what they are getting involved with and what the try lifestyle is suppose to be. Bare with me.
I have been thinking about this for the past couple of days. Over the past year, since The Guardians of Darkness as opened its doors, several of my members have been approached, both the boys and girls. They have been approached by so called Masters that have wanted to enslave them. I have been doing my best to explain what exactly a Master is, a Submissive is, what A slave is and what collaring means.
Master/Mistress –Often called the Top, or the Dominant. He/She gets the most joy out of a “pet” performing perfectly, as directed. If they do not perform as directed, they will punish their “pet’s” in a variety of ways. They may employ physical (spanking, flogging) or Psychological(denial of satisfaction, etc) forms of correction.
Submissive – A person that allows him or herself to be Mastered, with stipulations. A Submissive has the ability to negotiate an agreement with the Master, as to WHEN they will be Mastered, WHERE they would be Mastered and most importantly, HOW they will be Mastered. A Submissive has the ability to negotiate every aspect of the relationship, at any time, without repercussions from the Master. Sometimes a contract is signed, but generally a Submissive does it verbally at every training session. A Submissive usually has a safety word, to indicate when the Master is to stop the training.
Slave – This person allows the Master to control every aspect of their life. A contract is usually negotiated prior to entering into the relationship, but with that contract, rules are set forth, as to punishment and expectation from both the Master and the Slave. Once this contract is negotiated it can be revisited if something becomes an issue, but once signed, it is a contractual agreement between two people, with consequences for fault of the contract.
A Submissive is usually the first step towards a full Slaveship. As a Submissive a trust is began, as that trust is solidified, the Submissive becomes more comfortable to allow the Master to take more and more control over their life. Eventually, the Submissive may decide to become a Slave.
Collaring – This is a symbolic gesture that shows ownership. Although it is customary for the Master to Collar those that they own, the best collaring is when the Master is gifted with a collar to put on their Submissive, signally that they are ready to be totally owned and controlled and become a Slave.
Now the reason I write this is so all the idiots out there, stating that they are Masters, or slaves, understand what it is like in the real BDSM world. In the real BDSM world, a slave that talks back to their Master, who embarrasses their Master with their antics, would be severely punished. In the real BDSM world, a Master wouldn’t stand to have his “slave” talk for him, as it would make him appear weak and unable to defend himself. In the real BDSM world, a slave is a quiet unassuming person that lives just to please their Master, to get his praise, his touch, his attention.
Why am I writing this? This is to explain to the teens in my coven, what exactly the BDSM lifestyle entails. Are they willing to give up their freedom, their independence, their ability to make their own decisions, to be at someone else’s beck and call? Are they willing to suffer the consequences, if they displease this person, by allowing themselves to be punished?
A lot of people play at being a Master/slave online. I have heard of contracts being sent and signed to have an online slave. I have been an online Submissive, when I wanted to learn, safely, the difference between the abuse I suffered from my Master/husband and what the lifestyle is suppose to be like. But some of what I see online is just ridiculous and not true Masters and not true Slaves.
To be a Master and Slave, there has to be mutual respect and trust, both online and in real life. The Master is trusting that the Slave will do as they are told. So what happens, if a Slave, is not being totally honest. What happens, if an online slave, has more than one Master? It makes no sense, because you can’t trust that a Slave will give herself 30 spankings. *shakes her head* See where I am going with this? Simply, being in the BDSM lifestyle is a test of your honor, integrity and honesty. Whether it is online or in real life. The ultimate Master/Slave relationship, as all those aspects, along with love. Please be careful and weight your choices prior to making a decision about this life changing choice.
