Me: Well you'd lose that bet. Being alone and being lonely are two different things. I manage minor depression because thanks to my military career I live with chronic pain and physical limitations. I was never like this BEFORE I deployed to Iraq so yeah, my mind often wanders back and compare the days I could get up and jog 3-6 miles and do all these other physical challenging things to maintain my body while having some fun to what I'm limited to being able to do since 2006 and that messes with my mind from time to time. I honestly lost a part of me.



As far as being lonely, I don't get lonely. When you've lived with enough of the wrong people, a life of solitude is a welcome retreat. I'm not saying being with the right person for me wouldn't bring benefits and enhance my already Awesome life, but it's more of a WANT than a NEED and I'm not cutting my wrist over not being in a relationship right now. I'm not for everyone, just that right one who will one day view my life through social media and say, "Hey, I want to go chill, share, travel, have fun with and fuck that guy dry repeatedly." 🤣
