I guess I'll start with college life.
I'm about to close out the Semester and looking at only having 11 to 12 students passing out of 14. I lost another student, but she was causing issues in the lab by improper draping and her massage skills were not to par as I would have liked. So I convinced her to withdraw because massage was just not the right fit for her. Then I have 4 students riding that fine line of not passing. I want to see all my students succeed, but I do question why some are even in the program to begin with. After having my annual peer meeting, it was decided that I should interview students to ensure that this program is right for them. So beginning next Semester, I'll be sending out applications for the program for those interested, but they will need to watch a video about the program and what it entails.
So in July we bought a full-blooded pitbull puppy. Then because of how hyper he was and that we had older dogs that couldn't keep up, we adopted a pit mix female puppy that had been abandoned. So now the two pups wear each other out giving the older dogs a break.
I've been dealing with paraesthesia in my hands due to the fact I have not only golfer elbow but tennis elbow as well. I have a bone spur in my elbow, so when my bursitis flares up, that spur presses on the nerves. So now I sleep with a compression sleeve and a wrist brace at night to keep the symptoms down. Going to be seeing a chiropractor again to get myself fixed.
Hubby is experiencing pitting edema in his left leg. They have been trying to figure out what's wrong with him, and there's nothing cardio going on, so he was referred to a vein specialist, they did ultrasounds of his legs, no clots were found, but suspect that something is pressing down on his vessels, so now he's gotta get an MRI of his pelvis to see what's going on, and if that doesn't show anything, they will do an internal ultrasound on him. I tell you I'm scared for him. He's on BP meds and Lasix. Me I'm still going strong. Just having joint issues. Hubby makes fun of me about needing a wheelchair before I'm 60. I just roll my eyes at him on that.
