The following was sent out as and admin message. I'm logging it here as a memorandum for the record:



I've taken action on the profile of Motoperpetuo. I have deleted his avatar, which was a pic of a Nazi flag. I also deleted a graphic pic of a shotgun suicide. My explanation was sent and is copied below. I ask you all to monitor his profile and blast this guy if he puts the pics back up before Cancer returns.

I know you're going to think I'm an asshole for this, but I'm going to remove your avatar and the suicide pic. While I am 100% for freedom of speech and expression, there are lines that we don't like to cross on the VR.



Something that we, as admins, are not supposed to allow on the site is the furthering of political agendas in public areas. Your profile is public, and the nazi flag is definitely indicative of a political agenda.



Minors frequent this site, and I am excercising my judgement and removing the suicide pic. It doesn't bother me (I've seen worse, but not much worse) but I don't think it's appropriate for younger members to view.



You are, of course, welcome to appeal my actions to Cancer. But, until you hear from him, do not put the pics back up. I will suspend you until Cancer rules on this if you do so.



I hope this doesn't foment any animosity. If it does, I'm sorry.
