There are many legends about the Elder Lurker Daniel. Most of them are true. The question you have to ask yourself is which ones do you believe? Perhaps it doesn't matter in the end.



Something that is known about him is that he is the Master who rules House Lunazure. Benevolent but firm in his decisions about those he invites to his Household. He asks for little more than loyalty, and never demands anything of the citizens of his Household. He doesn't even ask for servitude, but it is obvious that many gladly work with him to make the Household a home.



He keeps to the shadows, as that is the nature of the Lurker. As a result, many do not see him and there are those who question if he really exists. Some suggest that he goes into torpor for periods of time. Others however sense his presence without seeing him, knowing he is there vigilantly watching. No matter though as he always takes care of his friends and family, and considers his citizens as part of that family.



Rumor has it that he is on the prowl again. Lurking, waiting, for the right people to join his Household. Once upon a time he found 100 members from the Rave to join his Household. As time has passed, some have come, some have gone. The whispers around the Household are that he has it in mind to recruit another 100 to join the fold.



If he chooses you, however, there is no engraved invitation. You will be blindfolded and abducted, but do not be afraid. You will not be harmed, nor forced to do anything you don't wish to do. This is more than an invitation; it is an honor. For if he chooses you, he respects you and wants nothing more than you to join him among his Household. If you truly find the offer offensive, he will release you, but not until you see what the Household offers.



Ah yes, he is not the only member of the Household on the hunt. His Consulate are also fanning out to find the best that Vampire Rave has to offer. They will introduce themselves as such before bringing you to their Master.



He also openly accepts anyone to join his Household if they seek him out; if they dare to search the darkness for him. You must demonstrate your desire to join, however. You must know what it is that you and only you can bring to the Household.
