I am a hunter. My father is a hunter. My grandfather was... and Great Grandfather. What I hunt, elk, deer... we eat... every part of the animal is used. We also donate some of the meat to families in need... for FOOD. I do not eat store meat. Keep your food additives. We take down bucks. Never the females. I do not understand the sport of large game hunting for troupes. I do not need a lion head hanging in my man cave to prove I am a man. Where I do not think that dentist should be getting death threats I do think charges should be brought against him for what he did. That is once they can find him. Officials are wanting to speak to him but can not find him. He had charges against him before for the same issue... hunting outside of hunting areas where he also lied to Game Officials the bear was in the hunting area.... he finally admitted it was not in the hunting zone. He should NEVER have a hunting license again. I think he should do jail time... pay a HUGE fine. And have to pay to look after the offspring of the lion he killed. Just my thoughts....
my bf, my bother and stpe dad, aunt and uncle hunt for food, we do not hunt for the sport, we hunt one each year to fill our freezer with meat and we eat what we hunt,we do not hunt for the fun, we do it to eat.
And since we do not eat lions, we would not hunt it, we only hunt what we will eat and during season and within the zone thats it made for hunting.
Did some work yesterday in my veggie garden. A certain bunny is about to get trapped. She went for my pepper plants, (I doubt any will make it due to no one watered them while I was away on vacation for two weeks..) I had previously felt bad because I wounded her baby with a rake yesterday afternoon, nursed it for a couple hours until it was stable and put it back where she could find it and they reconnected...then this morning the hawk ate it. Ah, well. I do miss that hawk.
Hey to my friends here. I am on vacation till 30th. Camping out in the woods... but come to town for stuff-- and wifi.
Vacation day 1 was fun! We wrong-turned on a small dirt road in the Forest onto what I think was a very very old and long-unused logging road. I was thinking, as the road curved around and twisted and turned and went up and up, this is not going where I expected and then oh shit it terminated very suddenly after climbing pretty steeply up a hill. As in, oh the end of the road is a literal cliff and there's no shoulder and there's a steep hill falling through dense woods on one side and a steep hill rising straight off the road on the other side. And as in, oh dear, this road isn't crumbling a bit on the left side of the car right now, is it. Oh. It is.
So I had to immediately reverse and try to go backwards down a road with no shoulder, wide enough for one car only, down a steep hill with turns and twists. At least the road stopped crumbling once I got away from the end of it.
The rest though so far has been fantastic. Plan to extend another week. Forest roads though should have road signs that read: Hey, Idiot, stay off roads like this. Also, there's some kind of horsefly in this world that would justify the use of tactical nuclear weapons, in my view. I've only been bitten by them occasionally but they are awful--you can feel them taking a chunk of your flesh out. Other then the horsefly's and deerfly's, having a great time.

When we read something it is always good to not believe it all until we investigate it. Often things are written as opinions of others and not completely of truth. We must seek that truth so we do not end up treating another person nasty because of gossip or written mis-information. In order to have freedom and peace of mind one must allow others the right to live their lives accordingly instead of people trying to control them. Controlling comes in a few disguises
FOR ME I THINK IF YOU GOT NOTHING NICE TO SAY THEN DONT SAY IT, ALSO REMEMBER THAT SOME PEOPLE FOR WHATEVER REASON WILL PICK ON A PERSON UNFAIRLY ANDSAY CRUEL THINGS IN THEIR HONOR COMMENTST OR JOURNAL THAT NOT ONLY HURT THE PERSON CONCERNED , BUT CAN LEAD PEOPLE TO BELIVED THAT WHAT IS WRITTEN IS TRUE , THERE BY POSSIBLY COSITING THE PERSON , WHO MAY BE INNOCENT EVERYTHING LIKE FRIENDS ETC. I THINK IF YOU REALLY NEED TO VENT ABOUT WHAT SOMEONE HASDONE DO IT PRIVATELY THAT WAY YOU DONT HURT OTHERS OR BREAK THE RULES OF VR . I ALSO THINK IF I WANT TO WRITE SOMETHING ABOUT A PERSON, WOULD I LIKE PEOPLE TO SPEA KOF ME THAT WAY? TREAT THER S HOW YOU WANT TO BE TREATED AND IF YOU CANNOT GET ALONG YOU GO YOUR WAY AND LET THEM GO THEIRS.
I always take the stance if I have something to say about a person--I go to that person. Most of the times it ends up being misunderstanding that we can work out.
