University of Hawaii anthropologist Christine R. Yano, who has been studying the phenomenon that is Hello Kitty for years, has just dropped some bombshells about the iconic character that has been around since 1974. The biggest thing is of course the fact that Hello Kitty isn't even a cat! Yano told the LA Times "She's a cartoon character. She is a little girl. She is a friend. But she is not a cat. She's never depicted on all fours. She walks and sits like a two-legged creature. She does have a pet cat of her own, however, and it's called Charmmy Kitty."

This show always seemed like it had someplace to go - but it seemed lost as early as the second season. I stuck with it to the end, but in retrospect I wish I had not.

You should never feel alone or incomplete in life just because you're newly single or have been single for awhile. You don't need a partner or relationship to feel complete or happy, learning self love and appreciation is important. Never be afraid to walk away from a relationship not healthy for you because being able to stand alone, stay strong and keep going forward without someone to lean on and hold you up during hard times says a lot about yourself! So own that shit.

The Sundance feast was great I got to see family and help out by making plates for elders but it was just awesome to see the tradition alive and strong. Hopefully go back in the morning to drum and sing.. I just got out of a sweat not too long ago and I feel lighter, happier and replenished with a positive mindset again. When I was in there I had a long conversation with Creator and my own spirit. I apologized to him and forgave myself for being lost in darkness for quite some time and I'll admit I wasn't myself and haven't been for awhile, until I came back to ceremonies. It took me four rounds to figure out what I was doing wrong in life and figure out what I want to do and who I want to be, I then came to the conclusion that I'm going to withdrawal/distance myself from friends and people who bring negativity into my life such as drugs and alcohol or violence. My time here is precious and I want to spend it in goodness and wellness with people who want the same.

Grand Entry for Cree Nation Pow Wow at 7pm tonight. I have all week off for it too. Can't wait to hear the singers and see the dancers. Feeling proud to be a Cree, Anishinabe hiy hiy

I'm exhausted, my team won 2nd place which was $200 haha not bad, we lost in the finals by 1 point such a good game. I had fun tho shower up and relax for the rest of the night.

Had a good day/evening baby sitting my niece and watching cartoons. This thunderstorm is amazing relaxing watching movies tonight. Gonna have a nice long hot shower and try get to bed early. My niece lost a tooth today and I tell her she should write the Tooth Fairy a letter. She writes a letter for the tooth fair asking what her name is and how she makes her money. My brother ask me what should the Tooth Fairy reply, like did I have any ideas... since I had the bright idea to have her write the letter... lol... Umm anyone got any ideas how to reply to this letter? She is 7 y/0. What would have the tooth fairy responded in your house?
