What I am trying to tell you, is that there is nothing for me to look up. The profile is gone. All account records are gone. The account was self-deleted.

I am not responsible for the security of your account. You either gave away your pass or self-deleted it and now have remorse. Either way, it is something *you* did.



You account was not hacked. There is security in place that prevents it. It would take thousands of years to hack a VR password. If your account was accessed by someone other than you there is only one possible cause: YOU ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN.



You either gave away your password or you had some kind of auto complete password scheme running on your computer. In either case, the breech in security lies with you.

Primary Hard Drive Failure

I got my first home computer in 1980. It was a TI-99 4A and I was 8 years old.



I didn't get my first hard drive for 7-8 years. That first computer had a tape drive. Early floppy drives were out a few years later. A few years after that, hard drives came out. I think my first hard drive had somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-40 meg.



Since that first computer in 1980 I have owned more computers than I can count. Since 1995 I have always owned a minimum of 2 computers. At times I have owned as many as 10. I currently own 5.



In all of my computing years I have never had a hard drive crash. That was, until yesterday. I woke up to the message, "Primary Hard Disk Failure" on my main machine.



I shouldn't complain. One crash in 20+ years is a pretty good record.

I know I haven't made too many Journal entries over the past 6-8 weeks. I've been working a lot of overtime at my job, and my Vampire Rave workload has also greatly increased. When I am here, I am always trying to catch up on site work.



There are over 700 VR emails I haven't gotten to. On any given day I get 50-200 VR messages. It's impossible for me to respond to everyone. So if you sent me something and didn't get a response, don't take it personally.
