So, awhile back I had a full astrological profile done, nothing super fancy, just a quick summary. It's very wordy, so I won't post all of it, just the main parts.
Time and location of birth: 12:06 AM Time Zone is PST
San Diego, CA
Rising Sign is in 05 Degrees Sagittarius
Others have to learn not to take everything you say personally, because you usually do not mean any harm. You have lots and lots of energy and tend to become quite restless if you feel confined. Very gregarious, you love to socialize -- your innate enthusiasm livens up any gathering.
Sun is in 15 Degrees Pisces.
Extremely sensitive and emotional, you absorb the emotions of others (whether positive or negative) like a sponge. You are at your best when you can structure your environment in such a way that you are surrounded by positive, upbeat people. You are very helpful and understanding of the needs of others. Indeed, at times this can be a disadvantage, because you can be a sucker for anyone who needs help. Shy, dreamy, romantic in nature, you delight in retreating into your private fantasy world. Just be careful that you do not get lost in it! Trust your intuitions -- you may be quite psychic.
Moon is in 00 Degrees Leo.
You always want to be proud of yourself and will never do anything that will make yourself look bad. You need the respect and admiration of others and enjoy attracting attention to yourself. Your need for love, affection and reassurance, and your tendency toward vanity, allow you to have your head easily turned by flattery.
Mercury is in 19 Degrees Aquarius.
You are also an original thinker -- you enjoy shocking others with your offbeat, original thoughts. You appreciate and need mental and intellectual stimulation. Your judgment is usually fair and impartial -- you can be a good critic because you can remain objective and unemotional about most things.
Venus is in 02 Degrees Aquarius.
You are a friendly and outgoing individual, but close relationships are difficult for you to maintain due to your fear that they will cause you to lose your freedom. You attract friends and associates who are exciting, different and sometimes a bit odd. You are popular with others and enjoy working within a group toward group goals.
Mars is in 18 Degrees Libra.
You are very aware of the need to cooperate with others in order to further any effort. You are usually willing to compromise with others, although you can be quite competitive in a friendly way. Very fair- minded and impartial, you have the ability to sense injustice and the desire to take corrective actions to make proper compensations. You see both sides of issues and questions, but you tend to be undecided or wavering when forced to make choices that might make you vulnerable or unpopular.
Jupiter is in 10 Degrees Scorpio.
You love to dig deep beneath surface appearances in order to find out what is really happening. A persistent researcher, you are very interested in the psychology of any situation. You tend to become overwhelmed by the complexity of what you uncover, however, and that makes you a bit gun-shy about explaining things to others. But you must learn to try to communicate as best you can because what you know is really very valuable to others.
Saturn is in 21 Degrees Libra.
Although you take quite a while to make decisions, you usually consider all sides to a question, all the pros and cons, and the solution you come up with is very often the correct one. You have a strong sense of justice and fair play and greatly respect the laws and institutions by which you are governed. As such, you are outraged when others break laws or show contempt for authority.
Uranus is in 04 Degrees Sagittarius.
You have the tendency to think that all ideas, customs and traditions from the past are outmoded and irrelevant. You are attracted to radically new ideas, philosophies and religions that will, hopefully, cause sweeping changes throughout the world.
Neptune is in 26 Degrees Sagittarius.
You, and your entire generation, are heavily involved in investigating and idealizing foreign and exotic intellectual systems and religious philosophies. The most extreme ideals will be pursued with gusto. You will be at the forefront of humanitarian attempts to improve the lot of those who are in need of assistance. You will be comfortable with the concept of the "global village."
Pluto is in 26 Degrees Libra.
For your entire generation, this is a time of radical changes in society's attitude toward marriage and interpersonal relationships. There is a general fear and awe at the power inherent in making emotional or contractual commitments -- they will not be entered into lightly.
N. Node is in 21 Degrees Cancer.
You genuinely enjoy meeting other people, but you're at your best if you can do so from the comfort of your own home. You prefer others to come to you and tend to feel uncomfortable about leaving your home or neighborhood for any extended period of time. Those who do come in contact with you are struck by your caring and obliging nature -- you really make them feel at home. You form the closest ties, however, with members of your immediate family, especially your parents and children. You're at your best attending or organizing family reunions!
So, towards the end of what started out as a craptastic day, I was talking to one of my coworkers that had just returned from vacation (I will call her C). Conversation went something like this:
Me: How was your vacation?
C: It was good. I saw they opened the gym finally.
Me: Yeah, right after you left for vacation.
C: Did you join?
Me: Yeah, I have been going after work pretty much every day.
C: I can totally tell!

So, I know it's only been a week, and I kind of noticed I have a bit more energy, but that was all I really noticed. It was nice that someone that hadn't seen me for a week was able to notice a subtle difference that others missed due to gradual changing.
While I am far from my goal, it really was nice to hear that my effort does seem to be yielding positive results.
Was a great day - celebrated my cousin's birthday - took her out to dinner, ate way too much. Went shopping afterwards, spent way too much.
But it was nice to spend time with her, and have a girls night out, just the same.
So, this has been a crazy week and I need to vent a bit, although I am trying to keep work completely seperate from vamp rave (god knows I have enough integration between my work and social lives).
This week, I had to meet with my boss's boss's boss to explain why my team is not at goal for stats.
I held a productive team meeting, in which I told them that for their tenure, our score was embarrassing, and discussed my ideas to fix it, while asking for their input. That went well until the quality supervisor came in and told them that they were failing their quality scores by not falling our call flow process, and that was why our IR score sucked. This supervisor usually has more tact, and I agree with her - but unfortunately this was at the end of the meeting, and my team heard "YOU SUCK"...think that caused most of what we discussed to go right out of their heads.
Then my boss told me that I am too soft with issuing corrective actions because I did not want to place someone on a final warning for changing two words in a 5 word closing sentence (one of my team that ACTUALLY is meeting stats, and has no correctives for performance currently). I argued that I didn't want to risk losing this associate (since we all make mistakes) by giving him one more chance when usually they get 3 chances before going up for employment review. My boss caved. However, I know that it's not necessarily that she agreed with me as she said, "Make sure he doesn't get fired." (which I only have limited control over, I can tell them the rules, and correct them when they aren't followed, but I can't speak for them.)
Not to mention earlier, when my boss told me "God, you are persistant. Fine. You know I just tell you yes most of the time so you will leave me alone."
Granted, she did go on to say that my persistance in fighting for my associates makes me a good supervisor, but I would prefer that she agreed to my way of thinking because I am logical and have good ideas, not just to get me out of her office.
Sigh. I am glad it's Friday.
Feeling really good today. Day 3 of working out in the new gym. Surprising how much better I feel - more energized overall, although a tad sore.
Man, I am REALLY out of shape - hoping with the fast metabolism my genes have blessed me with, that will start to change by the end of the year.
Also working on changing my diet, not anything drastic as those major changes tend not to work for me. Just simple stuff, like munching on some apple slices instead of a candy bar, or getting a grilled chicken sandwich instead of my usual bacon ultimate cheeseburger.
And, for tonight's full moon, there were surprisingly little crazy moon-drunk customers to deal with today.
Happy with the way things are going - for now, at least I am content and all is right with my world.
I am considering a premium membership. I have read all the benefits you get from having one, but am wondering, is it really worth it?
So, if any of you have gone from a regular membership to a premium one, the question is, how often do you use the benefits given?
I know that if I go this route, my opinion may differ, but am looking to hear your thoughts just the same.
Thanks!

I strongly believe a Premium Membership is worth it. I use the features everyday. I had a free account for a long time, but now, I will never go back to it, if I can help it that is. Anyway, the answer is YES, it is worth it to get a PM
I have a Lifetime membership so obviously I'm on for the Premium thing!! lol I would be so lost if I ever went back to a regular membership. Really. I enjoy using the Last 10 option a lot--you see the last 10 people that viewed you, instead of 10. Also, it's neat to see your ratings. You got all your coding you can do too. So, yeah, it's worth it.
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised
The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.
What Tarot Card are You?

Got a gym put in at work - started my membership with a 45 minute workout last night. Working out again will be nice - that job has assisted me in putting on a lot of weight, since I started by sitting for 8 hours a day.
Not to mention my poor eating habits (Damn you, JITB, and your ultimate cheeseburger).
Setting a goal to lose 30 lbs by the end of the year. I probably should by a scale so I can actually monitor the goal...
or change it to inches lost...
It is only the ability to dream, reason, and have regret that separate man from animal, and yet, sometimes, that ability proves to be our undoing. Why would a person regret doing something good for them, like ending a relationship that is starving their soul, just because it hurts the other person?
After all, would the lion ever regret the slaughtering of the lamb he feasts upon?
I am new, working on the layout. My friend Sugarpuss referred me - if you are reading this, you should check her page out, as well.
She is one of the most amazing ppl I know!
Anyways, since this is MY journal... ; )
I was really excited to start my profile and stuff...and now have writer's block.
So, more to come at a later date.
Thanks for reading!
