my sister has a son of 13 years. he is bright, funny, athletic and has always been. so needless to say we don't really treat him like he is 13.

night before last he had requested that his mother fill out a permision slip to allow him to do one of the many things that holds this youngs mans intrest. she said she would but paid it no mind untill about midnight when she decided to look the paperwork over.

she found that he had taken it upon himself to fill in all of the spots in which he knew the answers. she felt proud of him as she read through how much he knew.

then she came upon the place where it asks the name of the parent and the relationship they had. to this he filled that Mothers name was mom and her relationship was none. to this she laughed and continued reading. further on it request two emergincy contact people and thier relationship. and in responce he put (1)Grandpa relationship grandma and (2)Grandma relationship Grandpa.

so i have learned that no matter how fast you think your child is growing they still have so much left to learn. *DON'T WAIT TILL TOMORROW THINKING YOU CAN TEACH THEM THEN*
