So I’ve been poking this friend on Facebook for ages now and just recently she sent me a message asking if we could take our poking to the next level. What does she want, a punch?!!

Maybe she wanted a poke somewhere else. lol
Lol, I seem to remember that Poke meant, you know... a little hanky panky!
Love that caption!
Made me giggle thanks for posting :)
SUPERPOKE!
When I first joined VR I never knew what I was letting myself in for. I wanted to be dark and mysterious but only succeeded at being stupid, silly at best!
I look around at the newbie’s that are joining the site and I read their very short profiles and think ‘I was so like that once’.
We all grow with a site that we come to love and we learn, and we never stop learning. That is the key with life in general.
I read a description that a guy wrote of himself and couldn’t help but chuckle. He said he was ‘curveous’! I mean is that even a word?!! I guess describing oneself as short, fat and hairy does take out the sexual innuendo that some of the kids feel necessary to express so readily theses days but then they are just kids.
I see a lot of young ladies describing themselves as curvy too. You’re not darling, you’re fat!
I find it best not to highlite a problem area but to move on to your positive attributes. Show me how well you write. Talk about your hobbies etc but stay away from self descriptions!
If you’re genuinely dyslexic then that’s fine but more and more of you are using that as an excuse to be lazy and not check your spelling. Sure, typos are fine, been there myself many a time, but the blatant misuse of English.. grrrrr
Another thing about the larger people who describe themselves with eating disorders with their over active thyroid glands etc. If you’re genuine then again that’s fine but if not then your eating disorder should be kept quiet as it only means the only disorder you have is you can’t keep your mouth shut.

So true!
It would be nice if everyone had to pass a test on beginners profiles to be able to join.
I love it when you call 'em out baby.
xoxo
Well said!
It seems to be a trend that people share their medical problems, physical and mental as a part of their profile description. I don't get that. I've mentioned ailments in my journal- although never psychiatric disorders (not that I have one- some might beg to differ :P)... but on my profile? If my illness is 'who I am', there's a problem, and also... a big warning sign.
