I hope that if you have children they don't grow up to fight with their siblings. I have three adult daughters in the midst of a big fight, one is on the sidelines and was disgusted by things that were said almost a year ago and the other it is over a truck that one owns and it was lent to the other to fix and they would smog and register and then she could drive it. Whether there was any actual mention of giving it to her as far as name change I don't know. I am always the last one to know. The facts are it is still in the original daughter's name period so I don't see how the one can claim it...beats me but they are adults and if they want to fight, verbally or in the courts it is on them. I'm not being drug into it because I find it petty. It started because the second one wanted to sell it instead but it technically isn't hers and my understanding was that was a proviso for her to drive it, no attempts would be made to sell it. I am stuck in the middle and this time I have made up my mind they aren't doing this to me and I'm not going to let them drag me into the squabble. So I don't answer anyone. It will resolve one way or the other and one will lose out and be very upset but I cannot be party to the folly of it all. I usually don't write about personal issues here but this has me really upset and I'm too old to have to listen to all of this petty stuff going on and be expected to take sides.
So here I am and it's early morning where I am watching Hemlock Grove. Bizarre found a home in this show. It's not really scary but weird. Weird creatures and dialogue and I had to wait so long for season 2 that I've forgotten season 1, so some of it made no sense. Sometimes the dialogue is really wacked. I watch and listen and wonder who wrote it, lol. It's kind of distracting in a way when the people start talking nonsense but I guess it fits with the story. I don't mean the theory behind things, its a horror/fantasy show so some things will not be scientific minded really. That's not what I mean it is the choice of words connected to a phrase in the dialogue and often, they make no sense at all and it sounds like gibberish to me. Can't explain it unless you've watched it. I find Bill Skarsgard's looks to be too young for the part he is playing. He looks like he's sixteen and not much like his brother, which is not a requirement of course, except the way they both hunch over their necks like turtles sometimes when they walk. I noticed that often with Alex in True Blood. They don't look much alike as I stated, in my opinion but then I have kids that don't. Just some familial similarities that aren't that obvious. I know I shouldn't make comparisons of the two brothers but I do anyway.
I can't decide if I like the show or not. Joel de la Fuente playing the scientist/doctor is probably the best on the show in the part he is playing. Famke Janssen is OK...shades of "Jean" one might say. I wonder if it will be months again before the third season is shown. This one ended strangely. I'm going to find first season and start from the beginning because I have forgotten too much about the show with the long wait. Some have really panned this series but the majority have not. It has a 7.3 in IMdb and 4/5 on Netflix. It's not bad and the acting is fine. It's just an unusual storyline. Like nothing I have ever seen before despite it's about vampires (they use the term Upir) and werewolfs. These upir go out in daylight and seem like most everyone else except they crave blood. Just to set that one straight. Anyway it's a Netflix show and I have that and why I'm watching it.
