Dance Of The Faceless
04:01 Feb 29 2012
Times Read: 476
The veil of shame is one of maim.
It robs the freedom from my veins
...and joins my body parts upon the floor.
My will of self exists no more
...and my body's heart, it's beat long o'er;
where the mores of sand envelop the wind
and spread the remnants of my tears to distant lands.
I walk a shell of distant path,
I breathe, I speak but do not laugh;
my tears embed my every step
for slaves and freedom cannot dance.
I wonder now why I was born,
enduring, deserving constant scorn;
shunned for birth, a waste of life-
death, rape, pain and strife.
My veil conceals the face I have not.

Nothingness Where Aught To Be22:38 Feb 11 2012
Times Read: 486
Rare is the place where I belong,
a place where no one needs me.
Rare is the place where I belong,
the place where I'm still breathing.
Where ought the air to smell as sweet
as flowers I once knew,
the fires burning down below,
have all but some consumed.
Tell me where I am,
tell me who I was,
tell me where I'm heading.
The destination preconceived,
the story book is ending;
...with nothingness at it's base.
